Dill Pickle Cheeza Pleeza
Dill Pickle is a fun flavor – tart, tangy, not too salty, not too sour – just right for a burger, chicken sandwich, tomato topping, or crackers.
When I first made this flavor there was a very important flavor coach in the kitchen, my niece Alyssa. After adding the first batch of dill pickles she tasted it and gave me the side-eye look that said, “More Pickles!” So, I added double the amount. She again replied, “More Pickles, Aunt Lynn!” Again, I added even more. This time she smiled and said, “Now, that tastes like Dill Pickle.”
We discovered that Dill Pickle lovers are a special group with very distinct preferences. Texans love their Dill Pickles, in fact Texas is the only state where you can purchase a huge dill pickle in the movie theater.
It took a long time for us to work out the right combination of dill pickles. We actually use two different types of pickles and rough-cut hand chop them for every batch of cheeza wonderness.
We love the “More Dill Pickle” cheeza on crackers, burgers, BTC sandwiches (bacon-tomato-cheeza), Chik-fila, tortilla roll-ups, pulled pork, stuffed in celery and so much more. One of the party favorites is to make Chik-fila sliders with Dill Pickle Cheeza. (Get picture from Chris and share it)
There are hundreds of ways for Dill Pickle people to explore. We would love to hear what you have discovered and share it with others.
Thanks for trying it and for sharing it with those you enjoy and love.
